Lena and Michael

Michael and Lena - these names, knows everybody in our agency. Now we are friends and one year after the exciting companionship they arrived in Ukraine to visit us, as foreign visitors. It was Michael's idea, to come to Ukraine and to give Elena an opportunity to meet her sister and friends and just to visit her homeland.

A year after moving to USA Lena speaks fluent English, sorts out Michael's schedule, and makes sure he eats and rests properly. It is very fun and comfortable around them, they laugh and joke and tell different stories about there traveling, about how Lena met Michael's mother, and how they made there house comfortable.

And Michael as a happy child kept on repeating "My dear Lena". When I reviewed Lena's profile I read that her dream is to rise under a huge balloon. I suppose Michael read this too, because he proposed to her while they were flying under a balloon.

How did Lena come to the agency? She came with her friend, because she was hesitant and they filled out their profiles together. It turned out that Lena was 18 years old orphan. Her father disappeared many years ago, and her mother died four years ago and Lena had been living alone for four years.

She had a job. She was just a sales woman at the market and for a very basic salary she managed to rent an apartment, buy food, some clothes and managed to learn English. And despite all the troubles in her life she never complained and she always was in good mood. She always came to pick up her letters or late at night after her job dictated replies to the letters over the phone.

They planned the time of their first date, but unfortunately, it did not happen as planned. Michael wrote Elena a letter with the explanation that he could not come, because of some problems with his business, but he promised to come in a month.

Lena was not disappointed and decided not to give up, she started getting ready for Michael's arrival even more carefully- she worked a lot to get days off for his visit and was learning necessary phrases in English. A month later they had there first date, then the second, and the third one, and they continued dating for a year. And when Lena was in America, they decided to get together.

Now they are living together and Michael says that he is very happy that he found such a kind and understanding girl in Ukraine and that he wishes everyone to find their second half, because this is a happiness - to be in love.
